About us
  North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) is one of the key universities in China. It founded in 1958. We have been fostering talents in the areas of engineering technology, management, economics and the social sciences. It has undertaken thousands of scientific research programs particularly including those financed by the National Natural Science Funds, National Key Problem Projects, and international cooperative projects, among which nearly one hundred projects have been recognized with national and provincial and ministerial awards. Dozens of techniques have been transferred into production with an annual output of 550 million Yuan.
  Meanwhile, we are cooperating with State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid, China Guodian Corporation, China Dating Corporation, China Huadian Corporation, China Huaneng Group and China Power Investment Corporation, which are two main grids and five key electric power corporations in China. We also have built up very good relationship with the universities, research institutions and electric power companies from 20 countries all over the world on the areas of electric researching, new technology developing and international electric training during past 48 years.
  After China joined into WTO, many Chinese electric corporations, plants and research institutions need to renew and to learn new technology from other countries, and to exchange the experience with each other. Then we set up “International Department” for providing long-term to short-term international training programs to the over 4000 Chinese electric corporations, plants and research institutions, and for meeting their needs.
